I am Jessica Durka, wife, daughter, aunt, sister, friend, and cancer survivor. That last one hit me like a ton of bricks .....

You are never ready to hear the words "you have cancer."  To say it was life-changing was an understatement, but it was in one of the most beautiful ways. How can I say getting a cancer diagnosis was beautiful? Because it put me on a path, I didn't know I was meant for. Don't get me wrong, the cancer part sucked, but the people I met and the Juravinski Cancer Centre saved my life. Plain and simple, SAVED MY LIFE.

I think our pumpkins might have a little bit of magic in them😉. Cinderella's fairy godmother hasn't got anything on us.   I could go on and on, but I hope you follow along with us this year to see the power of community and giving.

Over the last four years, our little pumpkin patch has raised $153,000.00, and every single penny has been donated to Juravinski Cancer Centre. This year will be our fifth and final year for the pumpkin patch, and I can't wait to make it the best!
