Supporting Local, Spreading Hope

We’re a heartfelt, grassroots community group on a mission to bring comfort, care, and connection to those facing a cancer diagnosis. While we may not be a registered charity (yet!), we’re powered by kindness, generosity, and a shared belief that small acts of love create big waves of change.

At this time, our support is focused on Haldimand and Norfolk County, ensuring we can make the biggest impact right here at home. Though we’re unable to provide tax receipts, every donation goes directly into the hands and hearts of those who need it most—helping us fill our Cancer Care Bags, fund community initiatives, and continue showing up for those in the fight.

There are so many ways to give:

• PHYSICAL DONATIONS-a list of most-need items is below
• MONETARY DONATIONS- via e-transfer or cheque
• IN MEMORY OF A LOVED ONE- we can set up a donation fund in their honor for funeral request.

Many of our recipients become highly sensitive to smells and chemicals during treatment, which is why we kindly ask that donated items be organic/natural whenever possible, with mild or no scents. To make things easy, we’ve thoughtfully compiled a list of our most requested items below.

We can only accept new and unopened donations to ensure the safety and well-being of those we support.

To make this process as simple as possible during this difficult time, we can coordinate directly with the funeral home to set up donation requests in lieu of flowers. This allows family and friends to contribute in a meaningful way while you focus on being with loved ones.

1. Go to our Contact Page and send us a message.
2. Include "Funeral Donation Request" in the subject line.
3. In your message, please provide the name of the loved one and the funeral home handling the arrangements.
4. We will reach out to the funeral home and set everything up for you.
